This is what happens when I'm not paying attention

The can on the left side of the picture is KLIM, which is full cream milk powder. It only took me 3 years to realize it was the word MILK spelled backwards. Fresh milk in Belize is very very expensive, about 12 bzd a gallon ($6 U.S.) so we drink the powder version, which is very good and creamy. Its not like the nonfat powder stuff my mom used to force feed us as kids. The memory of that still makes me feel nauseated. I have to admit that my Spanish isn’t so good, but that’t no excuse, because as you can see on the can on the right, the English translation is right below the Spanish. I’ve been drinking baby formula…

Hey great Blog. I've been thinking of coming to Belize, as i've been wanting to get down to Tikal in Guatemala....if so i iwll come see your gallery. I really enjoyed your blog though.....kind of felt as though I was there. Good stuff....

That's really odd. In Canada we have baby formula that has extra vitamins and nurtrients but we also have "powdered milk" it's really awful and you never really can get all the powdered particles to dissolve.

I never noticed that Harpo was Oprah spelled backwards until the lady herself mentioned it on air. I'm so dumb sometimes, to be so smart.

Paynter- Tikal is great, but Caracol in Belize is a newly restored, quite grand, Mayan site near San Ignacio in the western part of Belize. Its not as well traveled or known as Tikal.

Gravity - please pass the breast milk... eeewwwww. Try putting the powder and water in a blender, that's what we do here for creamy perfection.

Roxalot - I never noticed that either, until you pointed it out. I love the photo in your bio.

Actually that can on the left says in english instant dry whole milk so it's not actually baby formula, I dont' think lol.
We used to drink that powered milk too but my mom would buy skim milk to mix it with so it would taste more "milky" - eww I just grossed myself out LOL
