Photo Friday - On the Road

Objects are closer than they appear in the mirror, Panajachel, Guatemala
You can catch just the edge of my hand in the mirror as I'm shooting out the window of a little tuk tuk careening down the road (sideways sometimes) in Panajachel, Guatemala.

Illustration Friday - Jungle

Raw silk painted with dyes and textile paints. Its been 12 YEARS since I've painted on raw silk. My last project was for Trinidad born designer Sharrone Mitchel, who is now deceased. The painting was based on a photo that I took in Guatemala in 2012.
