Photo Friday - Turbulance
Is it a shark, or is it a manatee? Well almost. A curious snorkeler swims past the sunset shoot of Tina and Henry on their wedding day. All you can see is head and butt bobbing in the water. Click here for more Photo Friday submissions.
An aside...I recently found out that someone I knew had moved to Belize, gotten married to a Belize woman, then last month, he died. I was so shocked. He was a writer, Joey Clarke.
Hi GG, I didn't know Joey, but I have met his wife, Attorney Lisa Shoman. I think she loved him dearly and misses him terribly. From what I've heard, his death from stroke/heart attack was such a shock. She is in law practice with my attorney Dolores Balderamos Garcia.
I was a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown before I retired at the age of 40 and moved to Belize (17 years ago). I live 20 miles offshore on a teensy weensy tiny island called Caye Caulker, where I have an art gallery and healthy food cafe featuring my art, silk scarves, jewellery and local Belizean artists. Now, I'm a woman living in the moment accepting all the gifts that the universe has to offer.
